''Gloeophyllum sepiarium'' (Rusty gilled polypore) is a wood decay fungus that causes a brown rot. ''Gloeophyllum sepiarium'' grow in thin, dark brown/green brackets on coniferous trees. Fruiting bodies can be seen throughout the year, but it sporulates in late summer to autumn.
